I began practicing this form of Qi gong in 1980 and have found it to be a pillar of health and Self cultivation. This version of the EIght Pieces of Brocade is derived from Tibetan White Crane Gongfu. I teach it in the context of Five-element visualizations and the physiology of each of the eight movements. When I began practicing his form  I felt an ongoing tingling in my channels extending to my fingertips and have always felt that it opened a basis for deep connection to feeling qi through the needles when I began practicing. The form is deeply integrative and balancing physically and on subtle levels.
