The Classes

I. Meditation: 1/14/26 6:30-9:30 pm Est (3 Type II CEU)

The nondual view is the foundational view of Chinese medicine. Seedless Meditation allows us to see through the relative dimensions of a patient’s personality and pathology to their core as emptiness (ease) and luminosity (radiance). When people have “a hard time meditating,” it is either because their instruction has been poor, they have not understood it, or they aren’t actually interested. For those who ARE interested, this lecture will clarify what meditation is and how to do it.

II. Healing Crisis: 2/18/26 7:00-9:30pm Est. (2.5 Type I CEU)

In this class we will consider the Healing Crisis from the perspective of the Turning Point, The Yijing, Chinese Physiology, Resistance, and the restitution of the upright influences within us. Understanding the forces at work in the healing crisis, and how to respond to them, is essential in the practice of any authentic healing modality. The Yijing elaborates the dynamics of this delicate moment at length in the language of physiology and point function.

III. Exercise Addiction:  3/18/26 | 7pm-9:30pm (2.5 Type I CEU)

Exercise beyond one’s capacity is an epidemic in these times. Here I will consider its cultural and physiological causes and consequences, and how to address them with Chinese Medicine.

IV. The Three Heater:  4/16/26 6:30-9:30pm Est (3 Type I CEU)

I will present an in-depth view of the Three Heater as it is discussed in the Classics. We will cover its physiology across multiple dimensions of expression. I’ll discuss the Three Heater Official from the perspective of the Five-Element tradition. Lastly, we’ll consider the Three Heater as it demarcates stages of development.

V. Exit and Entry Points: 5/07/26 6:30-9:30pm Est (3 Type I CEU) I will present the use of Exit and Entry points as they establish a foundation of harmony for communication between the elements and officials that comprise the Shen and Ke cycles. We will consider how to diagnose these blocks on the pulse, their constitutional and acquired nature, and their physiology in the gross, subtle, and very subtle realms. This is a premiere treatment paradigm that every practitioner should have command of.

VI. The Psychology of Fertility: 6/1/26 6:00-10:00pm Est (4 Type I CEU)

Here I will examine the subtle factors involved with fertility treatment. We’ll discuss cultural pressures and views, and the ego’s superego’s, and soul’s, role in the process of conception. I’ll discuss acupuncture and herbal approaches that I have found useful in promoting both conception and a healthy pregnancy.

VII. Ethics in Clinical Practice: The Bodhisattva Vow 7/1/26 7:00-9:00pm EST (2 Type I CEU)

Here, I will consider the Bodhisattva vow as the ethical standard that we healers are bound by. What does it mean to be “The Doctor and the Medicine”? What is required of us if we recognize the obligation to “become the medicine”? Practically, what does it mean to give all we have, and all we are, for the sake of freeing others from their suffering? What does it mean to recognize that our integrity is the foundation of our clinical Practice?
