To Know The Patient, Know The Self
I have observed that most people have a very superficial relationship to themselves as well as to their experience. For most, attention and identity is confined to the fears and desires of the ego, offering an inherently limited view of the Self and life’s meaning. In the name of wholeness, we strive toward the practice of an Integral medicine that leaves so significant part of the self behind. Thus it becomes imperative, for the sake of knowing the patient, to awaken to the inner collective of voices, forces, and motivations within that speak to and influence us. It is the goal of this class that students will develop a non-abstract, creative, relationship to the significant parts of the Self. All aspects will be elaborated in the context of the clinical encounter.
The class is divided into 12 sessions three weeks apart. Each session will involve watching a video teaching, studying detailed notes I provide, reading, and most of all contemplating the principles in your own experience. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with their colleagues in a discussion group focusing on the content of each module. Each lesson will conclude with a two hour conference call during which Lonny will take questions and elaborate the course content.
We will take a deep dive into the subtle realms of Chinese medicine and this course should be quite developmental for those who engage with it.
YOU WILL LEARN:
1. Chinese medicine as an Integral art and science of human development.
2. Experience emptiness and luminosity as the foundation of the Self.
3. Awaken to the Authentic Self.
4. Understand the relationship between the absolute and relative dimensions of the Self.
5. Learn to distinguish between the voice of conscience, and the dictates of superego.
6. Develop a meaningful relationship with the soul, the subtle dimension of the Self.
7. Cultivate a creative relationship to the unconscious.
8. Investigate the relationship between the mind, will, ego, and development.
9. Understand medicine in a non-dual context.

Refund Policy
Course fee less 20% administrative charge is refundable if written notice is received two weeks prior to program date. The official start date of the class is 8.12.2024. No refunds will be made after that date.
